How many times can someone be bankrupt?

I'm just wondering, how many times can someone file for bankruptcy? Is it only once? I suppose it would be pretty bad on the credit file eh. Really curious. Thanks for reading

It definitely will look bad on you, but I don't think there is a law against filing numerous times. You will never get credit again more than likely though, especially if they are fairly close together.
