Removing bankruptcy from credit report

Once you are bankrupt, can you remove the bankruptcy details from your credit file or will it always be there?

Sadly, the only way it will go away forever is to wait out the 7 years. But once it does, it will be like it never happened.

the point of bankruptcy besides absolving your debtload is to establish your credit issues. So it is required future creditors see this for a little while anyway.
