I have 6. No need to destory them. Just use them responsibly. Pay them off and just use them for rewards.
Make the cc companies hate you by paying them off every month.

I read that about 80% of consumers DON'T pay them off in full each month, so there is DEFINITELY a need for 4 out of 5 people to destroy them...and the faster they do it, the better.

The credit card companies don't hate anyone...that's a huge myth. They are winning the game, you're not.

They are laughing on their yachts and in their vacation homes at people who say stuff like that.

Read the quote in my signature.

The more credit cards- the worse! I used to have 5 credit cards and used to pay off credit cards with other cc. Basically i was just digging a bigger hole of debt. Not a great way to live...

Five credit cards seems a lot to me. If you don't use some of them frequently, just cancel them to keep the ones you use to a minimum.

I prefer not to use multiple credit cards at the same time. However, there is no necessity for that.
Besides, in this case you increase your chance to have more troubles with your credit cards. But the main problem you can come across is bad credit history. The more credit cards you use in daily life, the more you can lose your reputation among banks if you cannot pay your debt. And that can badly reduce your chance to get a loan.
