I think Coca-Cola has a similar program. On the other hand, starting a Vanguard IRA at your age would be a great option, you can learn more by going to Vanguard - Mutual funds, IRAs, ETFs, 401(k) plans, and more. Both the options I described are long term, stable investments with low or no costs. Good luck! If you want to learn more, Money magazine is great for learning about investments, I also like "The Motley Fool" investors, both websites are informative and legit.

Hope when your children grew up, they will gain a lot of percentages from their investment accs I really hope, because in the end of this month I am going to open an acc for my best friends child with the same hope I understand that risk is high, cause nowadays economic situation is very indefinite,so I think you will have to often be informed and specially in area of law. I start to read laws And I start it from bankruptcy from here.... California Bankruptcy Attorney, Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, Short Sale

It's always a great thing to start an investment for a child. I did so for my niece and hopefully the investment goes well until she is eighteen and is ready to take it over. I keep the fingers crossed for your investment as well.

Hey,
I agree with you.
As being buyers agent, I would say if you are looking for a long term investment, real estate is the best option and it can give you good profit.

I would suggest investing in a bank, although you may find this idea ridiculous due to the many banks like Bradford&Bingley nearly closing for example, however the top 2 banks have all seen increases in their share prices in the last few weeks.

I invested in mostly stocks and recently diveresified into the commodities market with blue futures ( bluefutures.com ) with the performance of gold and some other commodities, and everything happening in the stock market.
From comparing my portfolio, I'll say yeah it's good to diversify, but definitely look into commodities, there is potential to do well in it even in a bad economy

what if your money made you 1 - 10% or 10% to 200% per month
with no risk at all, what if you dont need to work and just enjoy life
what if you can watch your wealth growing while you are having fun
