Virtual Real Estate Investing?

Is anyone investing in the internet at the moment. Virtual Real Estate as opposed to normal real estate? Just curious. Seems to be the buzz word in Internet Marketing circles at the moment and actually seems like quite a feasible subject. Your thoughts?

I bought the smallest land size available in Second Life last year for about $46 (approx. 12,500 Lindens.) It went down in value and I never bothered going back. The currency naturally inflates so I don't know that it's a good investment.

i read this from somewhere, second life and virtual real estate and all, and i think its interesting to find somebody actually in to this... , i wonder how the much revenue people get from this...
