E-Gold Payment Processor

How many of you have heard of or use E-Gold? If you do, can you tell me the pros of using it, because I have it and I was wondering if I should actually do anything with it.

They charge about an 8% fee if I remember correctly, and it is a huge pain to use. You technically don't have money, but an amount of gold and you have to sell that gold to an exchange company to cash out. The only reason to use e-gold is if you want to do autosurfs or HYIPs, because paypal doesn't allow you to invest in them.

Like I said, e-gold really only has the benefit of being able to be spent anywhere. Paypal personal accounts are generally better for personal use. That, and e-gold is a huge pain for people who want to use it for payments. They have to actually buy gold from a third party, and then have it transferred to their account.

Paypal and E-Gold do not have a good history with auto surf's. The most popular choices are E-Gold, PayPal, AlertPay, Maximum Wallet, and the newest one Auto-Surf-Money (owned my eProfitSurf). Many site owners are waiting for verification of their own accounts. I personally will be using all of the above since different sites use different payment processors and the diversification gives me a small sense of security.

Many surf sites have closed recently and many are left unattended until we the surfers figure it out. There are hundreds of new sites that have popped up and I would urge you to use extreme caution joining any of these. I saw one today that looked exactly like 12dailypro - altered script? Many of the new sites could have purchased a really old script that is flawed and the program will be doomed from the start.

I personally don't do any autosurfs. That era is basically over, and the last honest sites have long fallen. I do use it for HYIP's though, because Paypal won't even let you invest in legitimate online investments.
