it is safe and definitely reliable to do everything online when it comes to doing your mortgage. I personally think you can compare rates easily and have your questions answered faster without being put on hold

If I was to get a mortgage (which I won't ), I would call the bank or the mortgage company directly, instead of trying to do it online.

I agree...I would NEVER do it online, I feel better talking to someone directly.

This way you can also negotiate lower rates, while you can't do this online...

If you don't have the best credit history you might want to look into this site

However I think that it would be safest to go into a Bank if this is your first time. If you're trying to remortgage you might want to look into some info on that
